「Hotel a la carte」

中銀カプセルタワー跡地に建つホテル・アラカルト。

ここでは、従来のホテルの一室に納められていた機能が建物全体に散りばめられている。そこに機能が指定されていない部屋が混ざり込む。隣の部屋はリビングで、向かいはギャラリーかもしれない。東京は多様な活動で溢れ、その活動も日々変化する流動的な都市である。凝り固まったビルディングタイプを見直し、都市と地続きの新しいホテルを目指した。

Hotel a la carte stands on the site of the former Nakagin Capsule Tower.

Here, functions that were previously housed in a single hotel room are now scattered throughout the building. There is a mix of rooms in which the functions cannot be identified. The room next door might be a living room, while the room opposite might be a gallery.Tokyo is a fluid city, full of diverse activities and changing on a daily basis. By rethinking established building types, we aimed to create a new hotel connected to the city.
